Playing around
I’m currently trying to learn to play My Immortal on the guitar. I’ve figured out the various chords and some of the initial picking. Now I just need to make it all sound good.
Unfortunately, that’s not quite as easy as it sounds. See, I have two bar chords to contend with. I don’t know if my barring technique is incorrect or if my hands are just too small or what, but after a while, my thumb starts to cramp, and everything starts sounding terrible.
I guess an option would be to transpose the song to a different key, one with fewer bar chords, but I’m stubborn and want to learn it in the proper key.
